Life is grand!
Hey Mom! I'm super pumped about that 84 bucks! ;) haha and that red sauce is just called tomato stew and red red is like baked beans-but super gross and spicy haha. The food at the MTC has been exactly the same meal the whole time we've been here-Rice with either fish or chicken, hot cole slaw with tons of onions and everything covered in tomato stew. We eat that for lunch and dinner and for breakfast it's either oat porridge with watermelon and bread or milo (hot chocolate basically) with bread and watermelon.
So I leave the MTC on Wednesday-midnight tuesday for you guys and I'm super pumped but I can't quite say I feel like I'm prepared to go. There's probably like 70 missionaries here at the MTC with about half being english speaking. and of the English speaking ones Theres like 15 of us from the States.
Elder Waako and I .....are definitely different people. Haha he's a great guy but i think he doesn't quite grasp what I'm saying to him all the time and he is always speaking in metaphors and third person. It's like speaking to some one out of the Old Testament haha just super hard to follow but I can't complain too much, he's a really great guy.
Tell everyone I'm doing great, I've already given away like 4 ties to the other elders which I wasnt' expecting to do at all but
it's all good-I'm glad to do it :)
Oh and I lied earlier. the MTC is in Tema which isn't far from Accra.
Oh and so far I've only found fleas in the beds ;) haha love you Mom and take care! Hope that Carl does better!
